Dear Filmmakers,

I’m excited to introduce you to Feifer Film Academy (FFA), a unique opportunity for aspiring filmmakers to immerse themselves in the art of creating high-quality indie films on a budget. After 25 years of hands-on experience in film production—having directed 76 features, produced over 125 movies, and written more than 50 screenplays—I’ve seen firsthand the challenges and triumphs of filmmaking.
With this extensive background, I’ve decided to channel my passion and expertise into a dedicated film academy where I can offer invaluable guidance to both emerging and seasoned filmmakers. My goal is to equip you with the knowledge and skills to produce exceptional films quickly and cost-effectively, saving you from common pitfalls and costly mistakes.

At FFA, I’m committed to empowering you to become successful directors and producers. Unlike traditional film schools that often focus on technical roles like grip or gaffer, my program is designed to help you make a living doing what you love—directing and producing. I want to see you thrive and earn from your passion, just as I have over the years.

This academy isn’t just for newcomers. Even experienced filmmakers can benefit from my insights. In fact, I have industry friends, including a big-budget filmmaker and a lifelong cameraman, who are eager to learn how we achieve high-quality results on tight budgets and explore new avenues in directing and producing.
Drawing from my recent experience as an Adjunct Film Professor at the Georgia Film Academy, I’ve refined my teaching methods to ensure an engaging and practical learning experience. Our course will consist of either four six-hour sessions (5pm to 11pm) or six four-hour sessions (7pm to 11pm) or eight three hour sessions (7pm-10pm) allowing flexibility for those balancing day jobs and avoiding rush hour traffic.

The course is priced at $1,500 and includes ongoing support and guidance for your future projects. I’m currently scheduling classes in Los Angeles, Atlanta, Honolulu, Nashville, and New York.

If you’re interested, please reach out to me via call, text, DM, or email. Once we have a sufficient number of students, we’ll finalize the days and times that work best for everyone.

I look forward to the opportunity to work with you and help you bring your film projects to life.

Warm regards,

Michael Feifer
